Verizon Really Wants an iPhone

So much so they will buy yours.  Verizon today started taking trade-in phones, namely iPhones and giving customers a gift card worth the appraised value of the phone.  A 16GB or 32GB iPhone 4G will get you an astounding (not!) $212 while a 3G as low as $36 (I’d use it as an iPod before I give it over to the flying-V)

I understand what Verizon is doing here.  If I turn in my iPhone and switch to Verizon I now owe AT&T a sweet cancelation fee for terminating my contract early.  Verizon is essentially paying my AT&T contract termination fee and getting me to switch to their service.  Thank you Verizon but I think I’ll stay put.  You have to do more than “pay me off” to get me to switch.  What about you?  Is this going to make you switch?
