CLEAR Hero | Find Me and Get Free 4G Internet

A new hero has arrived to vanquish Internet withdrawals.  CLEAR Wireless selected me to be a CLEAR Hero.  So what does that mean for you?

I will be providing free WiFi service from my new CLEAR Spot 4G for anyone that finds me.  I will be traveling all over Southern California and Los Angeles with my CLEAR Spot 4G running in my bag.  If you see the WiFi hotpot ‘Clear Spot Hero’ pop up then I am close.  All you have to do is ask and you can join my mobile hotspot.

You can find out ahead of time where I will be by following @ifficiency on twitter.  Each day I will tweet where I will be heading.  Come find me and 8 of us can enjoy super fast 4G speeds.

How much does this cost you?  Nothing, a hero never charges for saving the world and neither do I.

For those of you unfamiliar with CLEAR Wireless here is the rundown.  Don’t forget to follow @ifficiency and find me for some lightning fast free internet!

  • CLEAR Is the super-fast , take-it-with-you internet solution for people on the go. Our 4G service runs on the nation’s leading network with the widest spectrum advantage.
  • Our 4G network spans the nation and covers over 119 million people in over 70 U.S. markets.
  • We not only power CLEAR (our own retail brand), but technology and telecommunications leaders like Sprint, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Best Buy, and Cbeyond rely on our 4G network.
  • The CLEAR Spot 4G is a portable hotspot that can bring 4G coverage to up to 8 wi-fi enabled devices. Laptops, tablets, smartphones, cameras and gaming devices can all experience the power of 4G.

I will be writing about my adventures on both i-FFICIENCY as well as TechZulu

I don’t quite understand this and who would ask you to use your 4G connection so they can gain wifi access? It just seems to obscure to me. I it that its a marketing thing they are doing here but it just seems silly is all.

    • Jason- CLEAR is spreading the word. I posted this to let people know that I will have 4G service available for anyone to hook up to. I will also be letting people know that I have it once I get to a location.

Even if you go to Starbucks, Panera or anywhere else that has WiFi the service is slow and congested. I will be offering people the ability to hook up and enjoy the 4G speeds.

And yes, it is marketing. Everything is marketing :)

Brilliant marketing. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves. Would love to read your thoughts later about effectiveness of the campaign.

Question: How was it that Clear came around to select ya?

    • Thanks Mel. It was an awesome campaign which is why I absolutely wanted to be a part of it. I heard about it from my business partner Chase and went to and filled out the form. Chatted with them a little and now I have the unit. The service is SUPER fast!! I will bring it to SMMOC this weekend.
