As many of you know I am very active on Twitter (@ifficiency).  I can’t help but set the record straight on the NEW and IMPROVED Verizon iPad.  Most of the comments I have read on Twitter describe how “Amazing the new Verizon iPad will be” or “how service is going to be so much better.” WAKE UP! The Verizon iPad is nothing more than a standard Wifi only iPad you can buy at ANY Apple, Bestbuy, Target or Walmart.  No difference! No bloatware, not faster connection speeds…nothing. [...]

So much so they will buy yours.  Verizon today started taking trade-in phones, namely iPhones and giving customers a gift card worth the appraised value of the phone.  A 16GB or 32GB iPhone 4G will get you an astounding (not!) $212 while a 3G as low as $36 (I’d use it as an iPod before I give it over to the flying-V) I understand what Verizon is doing here.  If I turn in my iPhone and switch to Verizon I now owe AT&T a sweet cancelation fee for terminating my contract early.  Verizon [...]

Engadget doing a great job keepng us all updated on “Antennagate” Apple iPhone 4 press Conference. Live from Apples iPhone 4 press conference — Engadget. Quick summary: -Bloomberg = Bullshit, never knew about flaw or any issues - 0.55% of users have called Applecare to complain of antenna issues (holy blown out of per portion batman Reportable Numbers: Data vs. fiction - iPhone 4 returns 1.7% ( iPhone 3GS over 6% which is still less than industry average) - less than 1 more dropped [...]

No! Bad Android! Check out this link from the guys at GigaOM. I couldnt agree more.  I am not anti-Android however as the article states, they do not have enough developer support.  I will mention many times on this site that the iPad itself is only as good as the Apps loaded on it.  Android may in time put out a superior vehicle (yah, I said it) but without gas your not going very far! Someone once told me its like like buying a Porsche with a 1-gallon gas tank.  Sure you can drive it, but [...]
