The fine folks at ModulR were nice enough to send us their new ModulR iPad Case Accessory System. I don’t think I have been this excited to get a case since I first saw the Method Portfolio by M-Edge. The accessory system comes not only with an iPad case but also a cover, stand and wall mount ($99.00USD). I thought for many reasons this case was going to quickly transition into my full-time keeper, displayer and protector of my tablet goodness. The only problem with this vision is the [...]

As many of you know I am very active on Twitter (@ifficiency). I can’t help but set the record straight on the NEW and IMPROVED Verizon iPad. Most of the comments I have read on Twitter describe how “Amazing the new Verizon iPad will be” or “how service is going to be so much better.”
WAKE UP!
The Verizon iPad is nothing more than a standard Wifi only iPad you can buy at ANY Apple, Bestbuy, Target or Walmart. No difference! No bloatware, not faster connection speeds…nothing. [...]

Chris Brogan recently spoke at a LinkedOC event I attended and confessed to us he does not use location based services. He stated “Foursquare is the AOL of yesterday. It is not the best, but its all we got“. Although I agree with Chris and have never really seen the merit of “checking-in” I am now a believer in their future.
I have spent the last few months testing location based services Foursquare, Gowalla and Whrrl on my iPhone 4. This post is not intended to be [...]

In the midst of Apples new controversy ‘GlassGate‘ case Manufacturer EXOGEAR has come out with a very bold statement. According to Abigail with M-Squared the PR firm for the case manufacturer ” EXOGEAR announces that its snap-on case is the best and only option for avoiding breakage.”
Well Abby, I have to agree! I have been using the case since the first day it was released and it is the only case I use. It takes care of every possible downfall the iPhone 4 could [...]

The fine folks at Griffin Technology were nice enough to send us a new model iPad case to review. Like Christmas in October a brown UPS box containing the Elan Form Graphite showed up and the first thing we noticed was the slick texture of the Woven-look outer layer. The inside of the case is made of an impact resistant polycarbonite (big words for what feels like a rubber liner) adding limited shock absorption.
Unlike a lot of cases this one is slim and enhances the feel of your iPad while [...]

Recently I have fallen in love with YourVersion. The service is nothing more than a news “aggregator” that allows YOU to define the content it displays. All the rage for the last few months have been apps like Flipboard and Pulse. RSS readers with amazingly beautiful front ends that read feeds defined by you. Where these Apps fall short are that the only content they display are what feeds you enter. You place the ifficiency.com/feed and a stream of all recent posts come flooding [...]

After the first full weekend of Football I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the Direct TV Sunday Ticket App. This post should be called “What does the iGUY want to use!” because I am enthralled with it! I however am locked in with good old Cable and have to envy my friends that have Direct TV™.
My friend Ray and his lovely wife Laurie sent me this video just to rub it in. Ray does a great job explaining the app in all its football watching glory:
(click to Pause, [...]

What is your differentiator?
This is a question that brings me back to Sales 101 but is often overlooked. As a sales representative (if you own a small business you ARE a sales rep) we tend to get caught up on the pushing of product. The concern is getting sales over becoming an asset. In many sales jobs a relationship needs to be born before a sale can ever occur. So how do we start a relationship?
After the first few months at my first sales job i realized that trying to start a relationship [...]

Now this is a news reader!
I came across this app in its development stage and fell in love with how beautiful it made my work look. Lets be honest, as a content creator anything someone else can do to make my posts look better i’m sold!
River of News is a great app that displays RSS feeds in a beautiful way.
The content is crisp, and one thing that I have not seen before in an app like this is infinite scrolling. There is no end to your content and no need to click a box or wait for [...]

Blackberry Torch Review
The focus of this blog is to open your eyes to the possibilities of the iPad/iPhone and all their amazing applications. To begin to realize that the only true limitation to what they can do is what your mind allows you to perceive. The majority of the information I relay to readers comes from physically using the apps “in the wild” and pointing out the good/bad and otherwise horrible in each.
My knowledge is centered around the i-family but is not limited to this only. [...]
