I started this site with one purpose in mind; to help others get “dialed in” to the current technology on the market. More specifically: the “i-family”.

I started my career in sales nearly a decade ago. Wide-eyed with excitement and energy I set off into the wilderness with the company-issued technology in hand – notebook, map and Nextel phone. It didn’t take me very long to realize I had no semblance of organization, or access to what I needed technologically to support my sales efforts. There had to be a better way! Over the years, I slowly began to read blogs, forums and listen to the pulse of the technology industry, always open to the newest gadget or gizmo to arrive next. I would buy it, tinker with it, take it apart and try to figure out a way to utilize its new found abilities to make my life more productive. To save you from a timeline and kitchen “utility drawer” of those gadgets (i.e. palm pilot, recording pens, the infamous crackberry), I will fast forward to today.

I have never felt compelled to jump on my soapbox and share the true abilities of what technology can do for you not only in a professional manner but also personally, until today. I still spend time scouring the internet looking for that next great technological wonder but my focus has switched from gadgets to apps. I have the iPad 32gb 3G and iPhone 4G. My gadget purchasing days are over (until next generation iFamily) but my quest for the most efficient apps has just begun. The problem I, and many other users, ran into was two-fold. One, there are so many apps in the Appstore where do you begin? And two, how do all the pieces of the puzzle fit together and make my life more streamlined?

I pride myself on knowing all the options out there, how each works and how I can integrate these tools into my life effectively every day. Turns out, many other iPad users have the same goal, but somehow find themselves overwhelmed in the quest for efficient use of the same technology that is supposed to make their lives better. This is why I started i-FFICIENCY.

i-FFICIENCY is dedicated to helping professionals leverage the tools available to iPhone and iPad users through a brief customized consultation. We ask two simple questions:

I work with individuals and small companies to achieve efficiency they never dreamed possible by utilizing the i-family and available apps.
